The Characteristics of Silicone Rubber Cable

Silicone Rubber Cable use electronic industry. It can be used for temperature compensation wire, low temperature wire, high temperature heating wire, anti-aging wire and flame retardant wire; household appliances industry, can be used for air conditioners, microwave ovens, electronic disinfection cabinet, rice cookers, electronic thermos, , Electric oven, electric wok, lighting, lighting and other internal wiring.For applications where the cable is subject to stretching, Siccet offers more efficient solutions with silicone anti-tear sheaths obtained with special compounds.

Resistance to chemical substances:
Silicone rubber has good resistance to lubricating oils, but is severely damaged by alkalis, liquid fuel, chlorinated hydrocarbons, esters, ketones, and ethers. It dilates more so when in contact with naphthenic oils, while aromatic base oils, especially at temperatures above 140 °C, usually make it unusable.
Performance with flame and fire:
Silicone rubber cables are flame retardant when exposed to fire. If a silicone rubber insulated cable is attacked by flames, the sheath and insulation crystallize, maintaining their properties for sufficient time to allow the intervention of safety measures. Siccet also uses special compounds which further increase the LOI value by 25%.
