The Characteristics of Single Core PVC Wire

Application:
Single core cables, as the name implies, have only one conductor and are usually composed of copper or aluminum and insulation. The larger the diameter of the cable, the less flexibility it gains. The conductor of these wires can be solid or stranded. Single core pvc wire has good features such as resistance to high temperature, oil, water, wearing, acid, alkali, corrosion. Widely used as transmitting electricity and power distributing cable in chemistry, petroleum, generating power and metallurgy industry.

Properties of Single Core Wire:
1.The long-time permissible working temperature of cable conductive core is not more than 70 degrees.
2.During short circuit (max permanent time is not more than 5 seconds), the max temperature of cable conductor is not more than 165°C.
3.The difference level of laying cable is not restricted.When laying the cable,ambient temperature is not lower than 0°C.
4.They have good chemical stability,and properties of acid resistance,alkali resistance,salt resistance,oil resistance,solvent resistance and flame resistance.
5.The max temperature of the conductor of cable should less then 160 °C when short circuit. (less then 5 second)
6.Cable laying, bend radius≥10 times cable O. D.
7,Rated voltage: 0.6/1kV
